Attention:
This adapter is NOT a headphone splitter/Y-cable. It cannot be used to divide the audio output into two independent of headphones or speakers.

Compatibility:
Some laptops and mobile devices will not be able to use all external microphones. This is usually due to hardware incompatibility resulting in an impedance mismatch between the microphone and the device-this is not a limitation of the adapter.
